Ranch Chicken Kabobs

If you love juicy chicken and bold, creamy flavors, you’re in for a treat. These Ranch Chicken Kebobs are one of my favorite easy air fryer recipes. They’re super flavorful, easy to make, and perfect for lunch or dinner. I love making these when I want something fun but also super satisfying. The ranch flavor is SO good, and cooking them in the air fryer makes it even better crispy edges, juicy inside, and no fuss.

Method

1. Marinate the Chicken

To start, I placed 600 grams of boneless chicken thighs cut into bite-sized pieces into a large mixing bowl. Then I added 2 tablespoons of low-fat Greek yogurt, 3 tablespoons of dry ranch seasoning mix, 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice, 1 clove of garlic (minced), and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once everything was in, I used a spoon to mix it all together until every piece of chicken was nicely coated in that creamy, flavorful ranch mixture. After mixing, I covered the bowl and let it chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours to soak in all that ranch flavor. (Overnight is even better if you’ve got time!)

2. Skewer the Chicken

While the chicken was marinating, I soaked some wooden skewers in water for about 30 minutes. This helps stop them from burning during cooking. Once the chicken was ready, I carefully pierced each piece onto the soaked skewers about 5 to 6 pieces per skewer. I tried not to overcrowd them so the heat could cook everything evenly.

3. Cook in the Air Fryer

Next, I preheated my air fryer to 190°C (about 375°F). Once it was hot, I arranged the chicken skewers in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. It’s important not to stack them or let them touch too much so they cook evenly. I let them cook for 18 to 20 minutes, flipping them over halfway through the cooking time to make sure both sides got that golden, juicy finish. After cooking, I always check to make sure the chicken is fully cooked juices should run clear and there should be no pink inside.

4. Time to Serve

When they were done, I took the kebabs out and let them rest for a minute or two. Then I served them up with my favorite sides sometimes it’s pasta, sometimes a crunchy salad, or even some roasted veggies. They go with just about anything!

Ingredients

  • 600g boneless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 2 tbsp low-fat Greek yogurt

  • 3 tbsp ranch seasoning mix (dry)

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Wooden skewers, soaked for 30 minutes

Directions

  • Marinate the Chicken
First, I grab a big mixing bowl and add all the ingredients bite-sized chicken thighs, Greek yogurt, ranch seasoning, lemon juice, minced garlic, and olive oil. Then I give everything a good mix so the chicken is coated really well in all that creamy ranch flavor. Once it’s mixed, I cover the bowl and pop it in the fridge for at least 2 hours (overnight is even better if you want maximum flavor!).
  • Skewer the Chicken
After marinating, I take my soaked wooden skewers and start loading the chicken pieces onto them. I usually stick 5 to 6 pieces on each skewer. Try not to squeeze them too close together this helps the heat cook everything evenly.
  • Air Fry the Kebabs
Now it’s cooking time! I preheat my air fryer to 190°C (about 375°F). Then I place the skewers in a single layer in the air fryer basket. It’s super important not to overcrowd them. I let them cook for 18–20 minutes, flipping them halfway through with tongs. Once they look golden and crispy on the outside, I check to make sure they’re fully cooked juices should run clear and there should be no pink inside.
  • Serve and Enjoy!
Once cooked, I let them rest for a minute, then serve them warm with my favorite sides. These kebabs are so good, they usually disappear in minutes!

Notes

  • Don’t skip the marinating time it makes the chicken tender and flavorful.
  • Soak your wooden skewers to keep them from burning in the air fryer.
  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket space helps the chicken cook evenly.
  • Flip halfway through cooking to get that golden color on all sides.
  • Use boneless thighs, not breast meat thighs stay juicier in the air fryer.

Serving Suggestions

  • Pair them with a bowl of pasta tossed in olive oil or ranch dressing.
  • Serve on a fresh salad with cherry tomatoes and cucumber.
  • Add them to pita bread with lettuce and a drizzle of ranch for a quick wrap.
  • Enjoy with rice and steamed veggies for a balanced meal.

Fun Fact

Did you know ranch seasoning was invented in the 1950s by a plumber-turned-chef? Now it’s one of the most loved flavors in the U.S.! And it’s not just for salads here it makes the chicken taste amazing.

Conclusion

These Ranch Chicken Kebobs are one of my go-to easy meals when I want something flavorful, fun, and totally comforting. They’re great for lunch, dinner, or even meal prep. Plus, they cook up beautifully in the air fryer with hardly any cleanup. If you’re a fan of ranch (or just good chicken), you have to give these a try. I hope you enjoy every bite as much as I do!
